not a shock but still
we’d had that three percent
chance that it wasn’t
still I leave work
run home and hug her
before we tell the kids
before we decide to just
get in the minivan
and go see LEGO Batman
in the theater downtown
where we laugh as much as
or more than the kids
one review called it
relentlessly frantically
funny and it is
LEGO Batman’s got a 9-pack of abs
Jana’s got her phone on her lap
when it lights up she sneaks off and takes the call
